For over 80 years, Picanol has been a global leader in high tech weaving machines. With the opening of their new headquarters in Ypres, they reaffirm that ambition. Over 450 employees work there in a setting designed for efficiency, comfort and forward thinking.
For the flooring in the entrance area and several informal spaces such as coffee corners and lounges, Picanol chose ntgrate woven vinyl for its durability, ease of maintenance and acoustic performance. A perfect fit for a dynamic and high traffic workplace.
Aavo Architects translated Picanol’s history into a contemporary design focused on simplicity and character. Natural materials and generous daylight create a calm yet functional atmosphere tailored to a modern workspace.

A renewed Core for future forward interiors
Picanol opted for 685 m² of Soft Bernadette from our Core collection. This woven vinyl floor offers a neutral, harmonious aesthetic and a reduced environmental footprint thanks to its lower content of virgin fossil resources. Within the Core collection, this colour is also available in Shy and Subtle textures, ideal for designers looking to add variation while keeping a consistent palette.
The entrance exudes calm and refinement. Soft colours, plenty of light and carefully selected materials create a professional and welcoming atmosphere. With its neutral and harmonious weave, soft Bernadette blends in seamlessly.
