design in motion.
Design moves with the way a space is used.
through passages.
through transitions.
through daily movement.
At Port Oostende, ntgrate woven vinyl brings that movement into the floor.
The former Stapelhuis, built in 1897, was transformed into a contemporary workplace for Port Oostende.
Designed by LMS Architecten, with flooring installed by Oxfloor, the interior brings heritage and contemporary use together.

The floor carries a wave pattern through the workspace.
a reference to water.
to movement.
to the maritime context of the site.
fair Jasmin, fair Astrid, fair Hugo and fair Falco work together in one floor design.
different tones.
one movement.
The floor does more than follow the space.
it creates rhythm.
supports acoustic comfort.
and brings the harbour context into daily use.
not as decoration.
as part of how the space moves.
