As a manufacturer of sustainably woven flooring and acoustic solutions we wanted our new headquarters to be a visual representation of our DNA. A building that reflects our love for design, our passion for weaving and our integration of sustainability in everything we do.

The result is a beautiful BREEAM-certified landmark with many functions.

In January 2022 our offices moved into the new building where production and weaving already had been started up earlier. We wanted visitors to feel welcome and maybe even a bit overwhelmed when we open our doors for them.

Experience Center

The ground floor of our offices is home to an actual experience center. A playground where, at the hands of architects and interior designers, color, material and design can create stunning solutions. The experience center draws architects who call round to see and touch samples, create mood boards and pick & mix the various types of tiles on offer to combine them into a greater whole.

Lead by example

Even though the building largely consists of concrete and glass, all spaces have particularly pleasant acoustics. “Which is obviously to do with the very high acoustic insulation value of our furniture and acoustic panels”, is the explanation. The building is the first manufacturing premises in Belgium to be awarded the BREEAM ‘excellent’ rating. The lightweight floor coverings we make deliver a high degree of light reflection, which means less artificial light is required and we consequently use less electricity.

Theory put into practice

The building is cooled and heated using geothermal energy, we have 1,000 solar panels mounted on the roof, the lighting system is triggered by motion sensors… In a nutshell: this is where architects who are looking to come up with sustainable building designs, see the theory being put into practice.

The heart of our building

Weaving beautiful flooring and acoustic solutions is the very center of our existence. This is why our manufacturing unit received just as much attention as our offices. Weaving, cutting, packaging and warehousing is all done in a white setting with lots of daylight coming through oversized windows.
